A failure. A disgrace. A joke. And a liar. Let's call a spade a spade shall we? Ghost Tank didn't pick Herod because he wanted someone mysterious. Ghost Tank didn't pick Herod because he wanted someone who could change the match because there is no changing the match. Ghost Tank and whoever he managed to get as a partner were always going to lose. Part of me feels bad for Herod for he knows not what he is stepping into. I hope once the match is over Herod and Ghost Tank are able to fully appreciate what happened to them. I am not locked in a cage with them. They are locked in a cage with me. Herod a curious name if there ever was one. Perhaps even a bit foreboding? It's a good thing that in a post life I enjoyed history so much otherwise the name Herod would be as unfamiliar to me as winning is for Ghost Tank. But I do know the name Herod. I know it well. I wonder if Ghost Tank asked Herod how he came about his name because if I were in the business of needing someone to win a match for me I don't believe that I would join forces with a man named after someone who was known for having murdered his own family. Boy that just doesn't scream Brotherhood to me. But perhaps Herod has changed. After all Ghost Tank believes he can do it why can't Herod? I want to be very clear with something as I sit here putting pen to paper. Herod and I despite his claims to the contrary are nothing alike. Herod murders the innocent for sport. I...well my story is still being told but I can say with absolutely certainty that I have never harmed a soul that didn't have it coming to them. I would never take up arms, or scissors to the innocent. That's what makes Herod, Herod and me, me. We would never be friends. Not in this life or any other. You see I would never be friends with someone who agrees to join a group that sees fit to allow people like Ghost Tank, Lucius Fyre, Frodo Smackins and Hysteria raise their banner. I welcome Herod's hatred. In fact I welcome it. It will be that hatred and false sincerity, as well as that misguided belief that for just one night he is capable of beating me that will be his eventual downfall. I welcome. No I insist that Herod do to me all the things he claims he will. I truly hope that he unleashes everything he has upon me because then and only then will he realize that even that is not enough. In a day and age where common sense take a backseat to arrogance and bravado...funny that those words should come from the lips of Herod as I do believe it will be those very words that haunt him whenever he looks back on his debut match and remembers that it is my name that is announced as the victor. As I said before and shall say again I am corVus and this is only the beginning.
