Lethal Lottery.

The XWF has hosted this event twice before and twice before the winners of the event have disappeared not long after winning it. The winner of Lethal Lottery 1, Sid Feder did eventually return. A year later in fact to use his prize from that event to cash in at Lethal Lottery 2. The winners of Lethal Lottery 2, Egyptian Snow Pharaoh and Dr. Zero stuck around for a short time longer but again they disappeared. Neither have been seen since. Who knows, they could by the Mystery Entrant everyone is so curious about. But that was the past.

I'm here to talk about the future.

And the future is not the Underground.

The future is not the Heyman Alliance.

The future is not The Kings.

And it is certainly not the Asylum.

The future is Defiance.

While Doctor D'Ville has talked about the Asylum undergoing a transformation ever since his reveal as the one true Higher Power, Defiance has actually undergone one.

In steps Austin Fernando. One of the newest superstars the XWF has to offer. Rumor has it every single faction in the XWF inquired about his services but it was not The Asylum that he picked, or the Underground and while he did join up with Heyman that was simply a means to an end.

And in the end it was Defiance that earned his allegiance.

But we weren't done there.

Shane Carver the architect of what some call the greatest stable in the history of the XWF, The Black Circle, joined our ranks.

Looking over the names of those who were part of that group would indicate that if they weren't the best they were at the very least one of them.

But they like, so many others, have now gone the way of the dodo bird.

Out with the old. In with the new.

And the new is Defiance.

Shane Carver, Shane Anonistrator, whatever people want to call him is now the man that will help lead the XWF into a new and bright future.

A future in which Defiance is the new gold standard.

Gator.

Justin Sane.

Austin Fernando.

CorVus.

We are what everyone else wants to be.

I'm sure there are some members of the federation that will sit there and nod with approval because they know it's true.

Some members of the roster might even reach out to us inquiring about how they too can be part of the most dominate faction to hit the XWF in over a year.

To those who would make such an inquiry, they need not bother. If there is someone out there worthy of standing next to us we will come and find them. If we don't, it's because they aren't good enough.

There might even be some out there that will put on a front and act as though Defiance is beneath them.

That's fine if that's the angle they want to take. It is amusing especially since it's so plainly obvious that they are lying to themselves.

And everyone knows it.

If it makes them feel better to pretend that they don't want to be one of us when the reality is that they never had an option then so be it.

There are even those of out there, namely little nuisances like Frodo who like to comment on the legitimacy of the titles Defiance holds and to Frodo and anyone else who wants to call us paper champions or fake champions or any other synonym to that effect I say this...come and get em.

Go ahead. Challenge us.

It will be the single dumbest mistake anyone can make. But I urge them all, I implore every single member of the roster to make that mistake.

Sane doesn't deserve his briefcase?

And yet he is one of only two people in XWF history to defend it. Successfully I might add. Against the previously mentioned nuisance to boot.

Has Frodo ever defended a case?

Has Frodo ever even had a case?

Didn't think so.

The X-treme Title. A title that was a joke until Doctor D'Ville came along and added some legitimacy to it.

Say what you will about Doctor D'Ville and while he is only the most impressive member of the Asylum because of those he voluntarily chooses to align himself with, he is no one special. But regardless of that he did make that title mean something again. And to that I will commend him. My only regret is that I couldn't be the man to take it from him.

But Shane in all of his brilliance knew that there was only one man capable of taking that title to the next level. It wasn't LH Harrison. Or Frodo. Or Ghost Tank or Aaron Underwood or Herod or Lucius Fyre. It wasn't Vinnie Lane or Aerial Knight or TJ Wallace or Elijah Washington. It wasn't Tommy Gunn or Kendall Sawyer or Steve Davids, whereever he may be.

It was Justin fucking Sane.

Period.

End of story.

Shane knew it.

And in time. After Justin demolishes everyone foolish enough to step into the ring with him the rest of the federation will catch on.

But until that time I will sit back and enjoy watching Justin Sane drop bodies like he were a common street thug.

Then we have tag team straps that Justin and I share.

Anyone.

Absolutely anyone could have purchased them. We did. And somehow that makes us frauds?

Paper champions?

Come and take them. If we are such fake champions then beating us should be as easy as tying a pair of shoes. And yet not a single challenge has been sent our way.

Gator was a garbage champion because he faced Aerial Knight multiple times?

People actually make that comment and yet...

Gator is the ONLY undefeated TV champ in the history of the XWF. Two reigns not a single loss in either one of them.

LH Harrison has won one title in his time in the XWF a title whose lineage traces back to an XWF developmental program. A title held by XWF Legends such as Cain and Tommy Gunn, Guppy Parsh...and Hysteria.

Let me repeat that for a second...a title...that traces back to a show that was created for the sole purpose of teaching people how to wrestle.

And that's something LH Harrison is proud of?

Frodo Smackins, the man who in all his time in the XWF has amassed a trophy case that consists of one title.

One title in which he was as instrumental in helping to obtain as the fat slob in the front row.

I'm sure Frodo will claim otherwise.

Frodo likes to claim a lot.

Very little of which is actually true.

The truth is. Scorpio had a briefcase.

And Scorpio used that briefcase to win a one on one match for the tag team titles.

And Scorpio then handed the other half of the tag team titles to Frodo.

Let me write that down again.

He...

...handed...

...the other half of the tag team titles to Frodo.

Which they then promptly coughed up in their first title defense to none other than the short bus duo.

I'm sure that Frodo will use the excuse that the entire Black Circle helped Dumb and Dumber win the tag team titles and to a point that's true.

But what is also true is that once Frodo could not beat Peter Gilmour.

Has Frodo ever beaten Peter Gilmour?

Perhaps when I put the pen down I'll go back through the archives and check but my gut says no.

Now I could go on about Frodo. I could go on and on and on like he does but that's not what matters. I will meet Frodo face to face, sooner rather than later and when that day comes I'll be sure to spend plenty of time explaining to Frodo all the ways in which he is an embarrassment to his family and anyone who would call themselves a wrester.

Now, on to the topic at hand.

Lethal Lottery.

More importantly.

Paulo Odbelis.

Hunter Moore.

Pyro.

Some in Lethal Lottery were fortunate enough to be assigned a partner that can carry their own weight.

I was not one of those people. And that's ok. Because I don't need a partner.

In fact, I don't want a partner.

If Paulo is out there and he stumbles upon these words I want him to think long and hard about whether or not it is within his best interest to show up on Wednesday. Because the truth is with or without him I will be advancing to round two. If Paolo is in fact the liability that I believe him to be than it's better for everyone if he stays as far away from the ring as possible. Paolo might not know this but in my debut match I defeated Ghost Tank and Herod in a 2 on 1 handicapped match and I am perfectly happy, eager in fact to do it again. If I chose to speak I would tell Paolo not to come to the arena on Wednesday because if he does I will take him out myself.

Now as for Pyro and Hunter Moore. One is making their debut the other is hoping to win their first match in their somewhat odd XWF career. Hunter Moore has been on the roster for over a year and yet has had a grand total of 3 matches. All 3 of which he has lost. He hasn't just lost, he's been embarrassed. Peter Gilmour, JTC and Waldo are the three people who have beaten him.

I'm just going to leave it at that and move on because there's really nothing else I could say that could possibly say more than the indignity of having lost to those three.

Pyro. I saw his promo the other day. It was predictable if not terrible. I applaud Pyro for being forthright enough to flat out say that he won't say anything negative about me. Unfortunately that only makes me hate him more. It would have been easy to just laugh off his words but instead he offers none. Except for a desire to have a good clean match. Well, he'll get a good match. If his definition of good is watching me destroy both him and his partner without breaking a sweat. But clean? Only when the ref is looking will it be clean. That's my promise to Pyro and anyone for that matter. If someone is unfortunate enough to find themselves pitted in a match against me don't expect it to be clean. Do expect it to be the toughest fight they could possibly imagine because I will bring it. And I won't stop until the final bell rings and even then I might just keep going.

Wednesday night I will be adding two more names to my list of fallen foes.

Wednesday night I will begin my quest to obtain what has apparently become the most sought after item in the XWF. A 24/7 briefcase. And no one...

...NO ONE will stand in my way.
